Nfl madden 21 review

Its that time of the year madden season. Football has begun so all the hype is up. Everyone’s hopes were high for this game, let’s see how it turned out

Gameplay.

The game play is extremely similar to Madden 20. They do have some cooler animations though, so that is a big positive. I’ve noticed that it seems a bit harder this year, at least in my opinion. I usually beat the computer in a slobber knocker. Nope not this year the computer always finds the whole in my defense and exposes me.

Online.

I’ve been having problems online. It will randomly drop the game and count the game as a loss. Even if you are up 21, crashes there goes the game, and ruins the draft champions mode. Also on the kickoffs it lags too, so I always miss the extra point. These things are annoying and shouldn’t be to tough to fix.

The yard.

The yard is a new game mode this year. Instead of normal football, this is backyard style. I’ve only played a handful amount of times, its a fun difference though. I hate how they got so many things to customize in the mode, yet off it you have the bare amount of customization.

Franchise mode.

The franchise mode has pretty much been unchanged. This used to be the best, and most exciting mode in the game. Now it’s completely bare, it used to have so many things to do. It was so in depth now its just dead. EA we want those features in it back again, so its a breath of fresh air.

Summary.

In the end this game is just madden 20 with updated rosters. It has the updated uniforms and roster thats all it got going for it. Unless you are a huge online player, and love spending money on the online mode. Overall ill be generous and give it 2.75 stars out of 5. Its graphics are still good. Biggest negative is how they killed the beloved franchise mode.
