I had been waiting since the announcement of this dlc to play i, did it live up to the hype?

It started out with the excitement of flying out to the isle of armor. I was fully prepared to get my socks blew off by this. Instead though I found myself struggling to get through it. In this dlc you get the legendary pokemon called kubfu. He’s just this tiny panda pokemon, cute he is but not to exciting. You have get him leveled up, and his friend level max or close to max. Along the way you battle mustard, who was the champion before leon. Once kubfu is leveled up and friend level is maxed, you get to choose between two towers. One tower he will evolve into urshifu single strike style, or urshifu rapid strike style. Single strike style his type is fighting/dark. Rapid style is water/fighting. Once all that is done you just completed the dlc in a nutshell.

Positives.

New pokemon added into the game. Pokemon partner follows you in game. Cool scenery. More pokemon gameplay.

Negatives.

Bland story. Pretty short. Redundant parts. Weird animations your pokemon partner makes while following.

Conclusion.

Even though it has a bland story, get it and play it. You will enjoy it somehow, you get a new legendary and more older pokemon added. I would give this 4 stars out of 5. Very solid dlc.
