We should talk review.

Overview.

We should talk is an interactive visual novel. You are at a bar, you get choices of what you say to people. It has been quite the experience. I have played through once, so far. I have chose every bad choice, it interacts with what I say really well. It has bubbles like you’re texting people. You get to scroll words to make a sentence. Could be a nice person and listen to people, or be completely rude.

Gameplay.

Gameplay is simply just text based. This may scare people away. The game is actually pretty good though. The mechanics are used pretty well. It also has some really good music to keep you playing.

Positives.

Gameplay is simple and anyone can play it. Since you are in control of what you say, you make the story. If you want to be comforting and good make those choices. Also if you want to be cold hearted you can do that.

Negatives.

No actual moving around. You are just stuck in places with no control of anything. The amount of things you can say is extremely limited. I believe there is a choice of choosing one of 3 things while making sentences. Can get repetitive.

Conclusion.

If you’re into visual novels give it a try. It kept my attention and I made a pretty well story with what I had. It would get a solid 3.75 out of 5.
